About Kd Summerz
Kudakwashe Mukuzunga is an Afrobeats artist,producer& song writer from Zimbabwe.

KD Summerz is a skilled mbira (thumb piano), marimba (xylophone), ngoma (African drum), piano and drums player. He attended a Children's Performance Arts Workshop (Chipawo) from 1998 to 2003. Mukuzunga was also part of the trio The Future, which won the best spoken word at the British Council Power in the voice program, where he also performed at the Harare International Festival of the Arts (HIFA) and from there on he performed in many concerts around the world.

He continues to produce songs, beats, dramas, scores for movies, commercial jingles and artists Kudakwashe produced his EP 'Summerz Eve' which earned him a nomination in 2017.

In Dec 2020, Kd Summerz released his debut album, 'Afroshandis' which features Mapiano (Uhuru), Boom Original, Dj Steiner, Billy Boss,
uNejah, KB The Deacon and Austin Chi. The project was produced by Kd Summerz, Boom Original and uNejah.
